How do you change the header image in the templates? In one that I'd like to use, the main graphic reads 'Company Name', but how do you change this to your company name? I've tried looking for intructions for how to do this, but couldn't find any. I'd really appreciate any help.
Hi,
You should use PhotoShop or other image management program and change the "Company name" or you may contact us at templates "at" siteground.com.

All,
I am using KeyWay Joomla template
http://joomla.siteground.com/index.php?mos_change_template=siteground-12
Does anyone know how to edit in the css file in order to change the white font when editing the static content?
It is very difficult to write in white font on the white background, you know.
Thank you very much in advance.
best regards,

I have never used Joomla before. I have opted to use one of the siteground templates and would like to change the text embedded in the banner graphic. I have a revised version of the graphic with the text I want but ... and now comes the dumb question ... how do I upload it??
I have doen some basic html before but can't see anywhere in the template manager where the code for this graphic can be replaced ...

@trichnosis: you are most welcome
@exipnos: You can download and use those templates for free. They are not copyrighted so you can modify them as well.
Hello
I have downloaded and installed template 41 - but it doesn't display correctly in Firefox. Any solutions?
Zi
The template is created that way and if you would like to have it modified you may need to do some development work on it. You may also request the modification via your Customers Area by posting a ticket.
Also you may choose another template which will fit your need from the other once we offer for free:

If you are not a php developer you may damage your application modifying the code. The changes you would like to create will require a modifications of your application code.
It is recommended if you are not a php developer to contact an expert web developer and s/he should be able to assist you with all the changes you would like to have on your application.

Hello,
Well, I will kindly advise you to post a support ticket due to the fact that as far as I can see from the error it might be caused by a application misconfiguration:
/var/www/html/imlteletest_en/templates/siteground/images/general/pathway_left_bg1.png, referer:
Please note that these are not valid paths on our shared hosting servers.

There is some misunderstanding here. I am NOT at all a user of your shared hosting servers. I am simply a user interested by Joomla!, and since your 1.5 joomla template is mentioned on numerous sites dealing with "Free Joomla! templates", and since this template was your entry in the Joomla! 1.5 template contest, I assumed that it was for anybody anywhere to use. So, I simply decided to give it a try. And found some problems with it.
Not knowing exactly where to go for help, I saw the SiteGround forum, and posted there. Since I am not a customer of SiteGround servers, I do not think it would be appropriate for me to contact the support desk about my problem. Could you suggest another place where to ask for help ?
Going back to the 1.5 template, it would be sad if what seems to be a very good piece of work would correctly work only on properly configured SiteGround servers. This seems to remove a lot of value from the efforts which undoubtedly went into the creation of this template, and in some way negate the principle of open source software. I hope that a few bits of supplementary info from the template creators about what is required on the part of the Web server to make the template correctly work is all that is missing to make your template a popular and usefull one among the community of Joomla 1.5 users.

A. Gosselin

Hi,
I am very gratefull for your offer. Unfortunately, the site I am trying to use your template on is on my company intranet, so it is impossible to let you get in to check the cause of the problem. This is sad, I admit, but there is nothing I can do about it.
I coud easily demonstrate the problem if I could find a server freely accessible on the internet with the following config:
- standard (out-of-the-box) RHEL5 OS installation
- standard Apache installation
- standard Joomla! 1.5RC3 installation, where all the PHP and MySQL settings are detected as being OK during the install
- standard install of the siteground template
Does SiteGround have such a server ?
Could it be that the siteground template assumes it is installed on a siteground server where such and such files are installed (eg: font files?). If so, would it not be easier to try to * disabled word ** disabled word ** disabled word ** disabled word ** disabled word ** disabled word ** disabled word *te on my server the setup used on the siteground side and see if this makes the things any better ?
Thanks fo your help,
André Gosselin

Hello gosselinandre,
Please note that the template has some technical requirements that needs to be fulfilled. You can review them here:
http://forum.joomla.org/index.php?topic=215097.0
We believe that both issues exists because your server does not support GD png. Please install it on a server with GD png support and let me know if the issues persist. You can also try to run a full error report of php and joomla and provide us with the results.
Also, I would like to advise you to review the whole discussion at the Joomla forum. You might find some useful information for the template there.

The template should work without any troubles. This error message indicates a problem with your server configuration so you should check the issue on your side.

Hi,
You should use PhotoShop or other image management program and change the "Company name" or you may contact us at templates "at" siteground.com.
hi, i'm a REAL amature to this, but very willing to learn and generally pick things up quick. (or so i think so, ha ha ha!)
Is there a section that we can change the logo? I've done the artwerk for it in photoshop 7 but not sure how i insert it. (as it were!)
please helpy this poor little man :-)
thanks!!!
To add your custom logo, you first need to make sure your custom image has the exactly same dimentions as the current one. To chek the dimentions of the current logo, you need to right-click on the image and select properties. This will provide you with the needed details. Then, name your image with the same filename and extension -- for example logo1.jpg and replace the current file with your one.

Hello!
Great set of templates!!!! Very appreciative that they are free!!!
Only problem is that when I click on the link sent to my e-mail, the download pop-up appears and a pop-up to select the folder to download to, but then when I click "OK", the first pop-up flashes, but nothing is in the folder.
My desktop is MS-Vista. I have successfully downloaded files from several other sites. I tried re-booting, but no luck.
Any ideas???
I'd really like to try a couple of the templates with my content to see what looks best.
Thanks,
WebMuse
Hi,
I tried downloading 2 random templates to test thi issue (on Vista too), but both downloaded successfully with Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox. My guess for you issue will be a browser related problem. Could you please try downloading the template with firefox for example and let us know if the problem persists.
