Adding banners

I've never done a web page before, but wanted to test things out. Signed up, added phpAdsNew for banner management, just creating a site with SiteBuilder so that I could invoke non-standard sized banners and test phpAdsNew. Can I do that with SiteBuilder? Do I need to use another tool like Mambo?
