Can anyone tell me if it is okay to use a product like web ceo's hitlens with siteground.

I'm new here, just signed up yesterday. Today I was exploring Cpanel and noticed that the statistics programs like awstats are updated only once daily. Since I manage a webstore it would be nice to be able to monitor traffic dynamically.

If I understand correctly, I believe web ceo uses some embedded javascript within the website and reports the data back to it's systems then the reports are generated from a database on web ceo's servers. So I don't think it would burden siteground's servers, but I want to make sure I don't get in trouble before I even get started.

If anyone out there is using such a service that they could recommend would you let me know, or if a siteground tech could tell me what my options are that would be great as well.

I really can't afford an account upgrade at this time, so that would be a moot point, but I thought I would/should ask anyway.

Thanks

Hit Lens is fully compatible with our hosting, and will not cause any load on the server -- as you say, the data collected is sent to the servers of web ceo. Almost any third party visitor-tracking system works in a similar manner, and there is no problem to use such systems on your websites hosted with us.
