Moodle 1.6 as a standard installation

Any plans to put Moodle 1.6 as the standard Fantastico installation? It's been out a little while now, and provides great additional features. We'd certainly be interested in reselling installations to schools but they really want the latest features including blogs which 1.6 gives.

Hello,

Unfortunately, Moodle cannot be upgraded automatically with the vesrion of Fantastico as may cause undesired lose of data. However, we can upgrade it manually once you place a special request. You can do that through the "Exclusive Professional Services" section located into the Customer's Area.

Hi Silvia,

We've managed to upgrade to 1.6 on our installation - or at least install from scratch and move the course and user data across from 1.5.3. My question was not about upgrading, but in putting Moodle 1.6 as an initial install with Fantasticio. I'm after the possibility of re-selling hosting to schools with as easy a set-up as you have with version 1.5.

I'm happy to say that we have already included Moodle 1.6.1 as a default installation within Fantastico on all our servers. Thus, there will be no problem for you to resell our hosting services. :)
