Hi,

Thinking of signin up and get the $74 SSL package, a few questions:

1. Can I have my ssl certificate bound to abc.mydomain.com, instead of the traditional 'www'?

2. Can I have yet another ssl certificate bound to 123.mydomain.com, under the same account? Any limit on the number of sub-domains that links to a SSL package?

3. Which root-CA does the $74 package include?

4. Would you pass me the private key ring and the signed cert?

Thanks,

P

Hello,

Here are the answers of your questions in the way you asked them :

1. Yes indeed you can have your SSL certificate for domain name abc.mydomain.com instead of the main domain name.
2. Unfortunately you can have only one SSL certificate per account.
3. The $74 package includes Equifax Secure Global eBusiness CA-1
4. You are not quite clear with this question - if you are going to buy a certificate with SiteGround.com you might not need the RSA Key and the Cert File.

Best Regards,
Larry

Hi Larry,

Thanks for your answers. For question #4, what I mean is, if I buy the SSL package from your side and I decide to move to another hosting someday later on, can I get back my private key and signed cert (so that I can use it in the new hosting provider)?

Thanks,

P

Hello,

Yes indeed it is your private SSL and in case you decide to move to another host your SSL Certificate and RSA Key File will be provided to you as soon as you request.

If you have any additional questions about SSL I can be contacted via email at larry@siteground.com
