I spent many hours looking and to no avail. I had siteground install mediawiki for me and I noticed that my user of the MySQL database as a password that's one of those default ones that leave a security hole for anyone to guess.
Well, it appears there is no way at all to change this password. There's no way to change any MySQL user's password it seems. Nothing in any docs will say how.
Does anyone know how?

I only get seven of those a year and they close them once they respond.

Actually, changing the password of a MySQL user, indeed, is a bit tricky and we, as well as all the users of cPanel around the world, have complained a lot.. However, no change password button was added up to now, but there is a trick, which will allow you to add a new user, with the exact same username and only with different password. This way the password got changed and the username remains the same.
By the way, we have lifted the limitation. After releasing our long-time developed project "Help Desk" we are providing a lot of new features in supporting customers aspect. You have to check it out in your Customer's area.
