ftp problem

dumb question here but i use ws_ftp for everything....every now and then i get an error when itry to upload files to my server...

It says Disk full - please upload later....

does anyone know what this means....what disk is full? i have a massive computer with a killer hard drive...there is no way it could be full if i recorded tv for the next 20 years!

any help would be nice.
