Hello

First i want to say i am very happy with Siteground hosting service and support.

I have a question / suggestion regarding stats and related information. It is
good to know the number of visitors, the referring sites and engines as
we now get from the stats in cpanel. However, i would really want more information about the following:

<ul>
<li>Which affiliate links were clicked and how often
<li>What files were downloaded
<li>How many times
<li>What was the visitors path through my site
</ul>

Could Siteground offer such as service, maybe as an extra.
Any other ideas?

Thank you

Andre, so far very few clients have expressed interest in statistics like that. That is why we do not offer it even as an extra to our package. We used to offer "Urchin stats", which contains most of the information you are looking for (you have probably noticed the icon in the cPanel). Unfortunately, Urchin is not active any more as it turned out it's not cost-effective for us to maintain it. If it turns out there is a growing interest in that type of statistics, you can be sure that we will look for reasonable alternatives to accommodate that interest. :)

I'd like that feature as well. I'm very curious about how my site gets used so that I can develop them most effectively.. I know that some scripts for CMS like Tikiwiki have a logging function but it's often quite limited.

Well, I would love more information of my visitors too. My web site is growing and it would to see exactly where they are going to replace pages that are not being viewed and the more information we have the better our site will be when updates take place.

I would love to be able to track my users movements around my site aswell, would be very handy for making the site more user friendly....

Our new website will be going live soon and we wouid also like to know which links are clicked and how the visitor uses our site.

I have installed a click counter which shows me how many times a certain link has been clicked, this is fine for a small site but the more links you want to monitor the more complicated it all gets!
