Earlier this week I attempted to upgrade my Moodle account from 1.6.1 to 1.6.3 via Fantastico. I had upgraded from 1.5 to 1.6 this way without a hitch.

However, this time around I ran into unexpected problems which I am not certain how to repair.

Moodle data is still in each of my courses but I am no longer able to see my main resources page when I login to a course - this is the main landing place for students in a course and how I actually work with Moodle to build my classes. So, I have been quite distressed the past few days, unsure of how to get back to my previous Moodle set-up.

In Fantastico it still says that I have 1.6.1 installed, so I am confused.

Also, when I do login and go into my Admin area I get this error: WARNING!!! The code you are using is OLDER than the version that made these databases! Version mismatch: assignment can't downgrade 2006080701 -> 2005060100 !

I will request a new install if I have to, but I do not want to lose my data.

Hope someone with database experience can help.

Thanks,
Bob
