web calendars

Anybody have a good suggestion for a web-based calendar? I'd like be able to have a group of people maintain their own calendars but that I can also put public events on each of the calendars as well. Must support re-occuring events. Be nice if it was open source too.

You can try the open-source WebCalendar. I think it has all the features you need and you get free installation from SiteGround. You can read more here (http://siteground.com/WebCalendar-features.htm).
