There are many advantages to article advertising for those of you who do not use it. For one where many search omit ads, GOOGLE, and Yahoo do pick up your content. You do have to get a little more creative with an article advertisment program because you have the added problem of creating individual articles that your readers will find interesting, while still reaching your targeted group.

When done right you can get the best of all worlds. You benefit from having your articles (ads) picked up by the search engines just as they would normal content, your advertiser benefits because they now reach a wider audience for a more extended period of time, and your reader benefits by learning something they may not have known about a topic that interest them.

For an example of a current article advertisment check out our magazine. While we have the obvious "google ads" and some affiliate links, if you were not looking for it you may not even realize that the "feature" ad is the opening topic just above the magazine picture.

Just a suggestion that you might try for your site. Especially if you have a content type site or forum based where an exchange of information or topics is the norm.

Search Engines are highly discouraging duplicate content posted on several niche websites, in order to score top rankings on search engines.

you can publish article after making slight changes on other websites, but you have to ensure that your website content is unique in terms of text.

If I where to market a unique and useful article, I would just place it within my site. Once other sites takes notice of it and links to it due to its relevance, that is the time that you get the most out of it ;)

Another option is to offer RSS feeds, but you should make sure not to send out entire article within RSS feeds.

That is actually a good option as well. And not just for backlinks but could also be a direct source of traffic.
