"Wrapper" component in Mambo and intro of ME. ;)

Hi everyone!
I'm one of the new customers to have a page here. This is my first serious attempt at creating a domain, and appart from some very very basic "manual" html pages (part of a class in information technology), it is my first chug at web-stuff at all..

I sort of jumped off of the deep end of the pool, but at least I donned my "Mambo life-vest" and my "SiteGround support" emergency kit! :D

Anyways, my goals for the domain are rather lofty. I'm an electronic engineering sort of guy, and together with 2 of my friends we are in the process of starting our own company. Just to make it interesting, we are spread out over the world.

I was reading about WiKi and thinking that it might help us work as a group and as a team on everything from code to electronic CAD layouts to documentation to user manuals to presentations when I came buy SiteGrounds. It took me less than 20 minutes to decide that I had found "home"! :) Live support was excelent, and then they pointed out the "aCollab" for me........ it seems to be able to do almost anything we need/want.

Well, all well and good, especially when I saw this thread:

"how to integrate aCollab with Mambo" perfect! But wait, here comes the problems:

* I cant find any "Wrapper" on my menu like described in the first post that I linked to. ***Wrapper located, see post below***

* if I found it, I wouldnt know what to do.. how do I "wrap" aCollab?

* I posted a "tick" and had SiteGround install aCollab on my site, but I cant even find it. Like when I installed Mambo, it had a web-interface, then I installed TikiWiKi or something into a subfolder on my site, and again, the subfolder had like an index or something so I could interface through the web. The aCollab install left me with a folder "aCupload" and 9 sub folders numbered from 1 to 9, and they are all empty..

I've never done "scripts", I dont really know what PHP is or CSS CSC or whatever it is called, but I do know how to program in various languages (ADA95 Real time programming, VB6, C, LabVIEW, VHDL..) So I guess I should say "yet". I could probably learn fast, but at the moment, I dont even know how to open the files to "hack" or modify them..

Anyway, this first post is getting rather big, so I'll post it now and see what happens! :)

I know it can be bad form to reply to your own thread, but I felt it would maintain the flow and structure better if I did, and so I hope moderators will forgive me this one time.

In my original thread I asked about the wrapper, since I could not find it. (Well, I could find it on the menu of my "homepage", but not in the administrator interface menues.)

-Well, it so happens that I found it today, and so, thinking of all the other total "n00bs" or whatever the term is ;), I figured I'd update this thread as and when I find answers to my own questions. Hopefully, others will also contribute though!!

To access the wrapper, from your administrator "homepage", go to
Modules-->Site Modules
In the list that comes up, locate "Wrapper". NB: the list probably spans more than one page, use next and previous to locate "Wrapper".

After you click on "Wrapper" to access the module, you're put on a page with two sections. The top section deals with how and where the Wrapper is accessed by a visitor from your homepage... I think...

The bottom section, "Parameters" deals with all the settings... this is where I'm getting stuck again.. I have no idea what "Module class suffix" is for, and clicking on the blue "I's" in Mambo does not pop up any help.. not sure if they should, but....
The URL: field seems straight forward enough. I take it you point to the module/component you want to "wrap" using that field.. My problem (will post a ticket about that) is that even though I requested an installation of aCollab on my site, I can not really find any install files, using ftp or otherwise, and so I dont have anything to put in the url at this time.

I got it all working, but I did not like the way it looked when I wrapped the aCollab, so instead I have a button on my main menu called "Intranet" which will open a new window with the login for aCollab. :)
