Google Suggest

Hi

Google suggest returns a value 'results' For example for the term 'boat'
Google Suggest might indicate something like 20 000 000 results. Does anyone here have more insight into this figure eg Is this an indication of number of searches on Google? and over what time period?. Is this more accurate than say Overture keyword suggestion?

Any insight will be appreciated.

Hi Andre,

The figure in Google Results indicates the number of HTML pages that include the term. Not only whole sites, but web site pages, that include the term. And these are the pages that Google has indexed.

The difference b/n Google and Yahoo! figures may come from the different number of bot indexes on both SE.
