Alright, I'm trying to make a custom layout for my site, but I don't have Dreamweaver or Frontpage to piece the sliced image so it works properly... Does anyone have any tips for me?

I don't blame you for not going with frontpage. it does a good job however it puts so much Junk in it's code that it is almost impossible to Modify the code manually.
I use Coffeecup HTML editor which does a Great Job without all the extra Junk code. Before that I was using Freeware Html editors which are Really good. there are serveral Free Html editors on the Net.
you can find a lot of them at Snapfiles (http://www.snapfiles.com) they have a ton of all kinds of files in catagories and also a great Search function you can use.
There are two taps at the top of their page and one is marked "Shareware" and the other one is Marked "Freeware" ! With a few minutes of your time I am sure you will find a great freeware HTML editor that will do as good and in some cases better then the HTML editors that cost a lot of Bucks.
