Hi. I just recently signed up for an account with site ground. I bought some space more or less for a playground while I learn a few things about web development etc.
Well, now I'm planning on hosting a forum on this account. I have it set up on a sub domain but what I'd like is to have a different domain that points to that sub domain so that it's a little more user friendly. (i.e. not so many dots in the url)
Is this what add on domains are all about or am I looking at something entirely different.
An example would be: The forum is at say....http://Forum.DomainName.com/
What I'd like is for users to be able to enter in www.forum.com and have that redirect them to the sub domain.
Hope that's clear enough,
any help would be appreciated. Thanks
