Just started wuth SiteGround and have been incredibly impressed so far. As part of the deal they installed vTiger (within an hour! WOW!). Anyway, I want to run a few versions on subdomains and have installed another copy into the subdomain dir. I go through the install and setup (have done this successfully a number of times on dev server), everything seesm to be fine except that I cannot login in the the admin area... the system keeps saying " You must specify a valid username and password." I known that I am using the correct username (obviously admin) and password. I have tried to reinstall with the default pw but get the same problem.
I found an old forum topic about this but the solution was fixed by the SiteGround team so didn't get to see the solution.

Any help would be good... does anyone know if there is a restriction to the number of copies of vTiger running on the server (other than unreasonable numbers of course).

The best course of action is to post a ticket under the Script Installation category and the Support Team will assist you with installation.

Hi Dan,
Sounds like a plan but which ticket? There is no area to put extra info under the vTiger script install? Are you saying that I should just request a vTiger script install for each sub domain I want vTiger on?
There are a couple of issues also which I would need to find out about as they will come up each time:
1. Currency: You obviously use the US Dollars as default... what if I require another currency as default (ie: AUD, GBP etc). There is nowhere to request that in the ticket area.
2. Themes: if I create a new theme which I want to be the default and remove the BlueLagoon one, then the system doesn't like it because the existing default is in cache. Apparently to fix this requires an Apache restart... how do I do this with you guys?
Thanks.

Hello Maxim,

You can post a script installation ticket for the desired application and right after that, update it and add as much information as you want to - about destination directory, default curency, themes, etc. There is no need of Apache restart when you are changing the vTiger's theme.
