I've downloaded osCommerce, but now when I come to adding more categories and products I am unable to do so. I highlight the relative category button and press the edit or delete key, the page refreshes but it is the same. MySQL is supplied by Siteground. Has anyone any answers please?
There was a suggestion on the osCommerce forum that it may be an issue with MySQL5

I think that this issue might be caused by your browser or the way you are navigating your osC back end.
If you are willing to navigate under a sub-category etc. you have to click on the little yellow folder icon right before the category name. Once you are under the correct category click New product and this should send you to the product editor page.
Clicking on the category name will simply select the category itself. This will allow you to complete various tasks such as changing the name of the category, delete it etc.

Can you please give me a link to the topic or bug ID? Ide like to further look into this issue myself as I also had the same issues not too long ago.
