Hello forum. I'm Wiki Architect. I am relatively new to SiteGround forums, so I apologize in advance if I am posting this in the wrong forum.
I have a question.
Can I get a Blogspot blog on my SiteGround account, and how much is that going to cost me per year?
Thank you very much in advance. :)
Hi WikiArchitect,
If you would like to have a weblog (blog) on your web site, here are several open source tools we recommend to our customers:
http://www.siteground.com/blog-hosting.htm
The most popular one seems to be WordPress (http://www.siteground.com/wordpress-hosting.htm). Here you can find a nice manual on how to use Wordpress (http://siteground.com/tutorials/wordpress/)
If you are speaking of a particular blog tool called "Blogspot", please post here the url to it, so that we can check if it can be hosted on our servers

I am thinking about using WordPress for my Blog.
I already have a account with SiteGround.com, on the everythingwiki.com domain.
How much does it cost per year to have a WordPress blog hosted on my existing SiteGround account?
Or, do I need to open another SiteGround account under another domain name in order to get a WordPress blog hosted by SiteGround?
Thanks in Advance! :D
Hi,
To have WordPress installed on your account with SiteGround does not cost anything. WordPress is included in Fantastico (http://siteground.com/fantastico-hosting.htm) .
Where to host your blog, depends on your needs. Here are the choices I can think of:
:: If you choose to have the blog installed in a sub-directory (everythingwiki.com/blog) or on a sub-domain (blog.everythingwiki.com) of your main domain name, the costs for you would be $0.00 :)
:: If you would like to have your blog on a separate domain (like everythingblog.com ;) ) you can :
--> ::: have it on an add-on domain slot (costs $30.00) (more info: http://www.siteground.com/subdomains-hosting.htm )
--> ::: or on a new account ($60.00, incl. free domain)
