Problems with Typo3

I installed T3 without problems. But the functions that
depend on ImageMagick do not work.

The Version of IM (5.5.6.) installed on the siteground server
seems not work together properly with Typo (3.8.)

I ask siteground if it is possible to change the Version of IM.
But they said: We know this problem. But we are not willing
to change the Version.

Does anybody has Typo3 working on siteground?
What are your experiences with that?

Hello Chris,

Well, yes. This is a common problem and it is not ImageMagick related. It is a Typo3 problem, which we cannot fix :(

On some servers/some accounts it works. On others -- it just doesn't work. The only possible solution is to use GD2 instead of IM.

We hope that in the next release of T3, the problem will be fixed.

Just make sure the path to IM is set correctly.
Go to the Typo3 Install Tool and change [im_path] to:

/usr//bin/

And it works. Now i am running a few Typo3 installation
on Siteground without any problem.
