Can't use site builder

Hi
Tried to log on to site builder, got a message saying ??????? database does not exist! I logged off but when ever I try to log on it's says session in progress, do I want to take over session? Click yes and back to ???????? database thing!!!

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi Barry,

Generally this means that there is a problem with your SiteBuilder database. You can try deleting it from cPanel it is named username_sitemagixprod but generally I would not advise you to do so since you will lose all changes made so far and might lead to additional troubles.

It will be best to post a ticket via the HelpDesk available in your customer area. Please use the "My SiteBuilder is down" category and our support team will address the issue with highest priority.

Have found out hard way that I was supposed to create the data base. I must have missed that bit in the instruction videos! DOH!

I had the same problem, at the beginning. I thought that SiteBuilder would be self-contained on my own hard drive. It was real frustrating at first, but once I got started, it's pretty much a piece-a cake. I love SiteBuilder.

Also, I subscribe to technical assistance, which is superb, 24/7.
