Well I just got back from Tennessee and saw a email that said:
The account with the username 'globalgf', is running out of disk space.
Please remove some files from this account, or ask the administrator to increase your disk quota.
You have currently used 476.91% of your disk space.
Is this just a bug? I logge dinto cpanel and ive only used like 200 MB
We are really sorry about that. It seems the cPanel software sent out a bunch of those emails, while we were upgrading all the accounts with the new features:
<table id="AutoNumber14" border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> <tbody><tr><td>500 GB traffic new! (javascript:OpenPopup('Bandwidth'))</td> </tr> <tr> <td>12000 MB space new! (javascript:OpenPopup('Disc Space'))</td> </tr> <tr> <td> 10 MySQL/Postgre DBs (javascript:OpenPopup('MySQL or Postgre DB'))</td> </tr> <tr> <td>CPanel & Fantastico (javascript:OpenPopup('CPanel and Fantastico'))</td> </tr> <tr><td class="Plan4"> 100 FREE subdomains (javascript:OpenPopup('Subdomains'))</td></tr></tbody> </table>
However, that message does not mean anything. If you login to your cPanel, you will see that you have plenty of space remaining (we did upgrade your space with 7GB).
We are still investigating why cPanel sent all those emails, but if you are worried - don't be :) There is nothing to worry about. If you were to exceed your quota on anything - space, bandwidth, etc, you will be contacted by your account manager :)
Thank you for choosing SiteGround!

My cPanel still shows "only" 5000 MB of space to use.

Before I went on Vacation they said it should only be a few days. But maybe you should submit a ticket.
