I'm using the siteground58 template on a joomla 1.5 server in legacy mode. When used like this, all images have a border around it which i was able to fix in the css file, however, i can't seem to figure out how to get the border around the "login form" to go away. It's not defined anywhere in the css. Anyone know a solution?

Please mind that siteground58 template was created for Joomla 1.0.x series and by default it is not fully compatible with Joomla 1.5.
We recommend you to use Joomla 1.5 templates. You can download them for free from:
http://www.siteground.com/joomla-hosting/joomla15-templates.htm
Another solution is to contact a web programmer, who will be able to alter the template code and made it fully compatible with your web site.
