good day, i am a total beginner to making websites, much more on joomla, so i really need some help please.

so i saw this template that i really liked: http://www.siteground.com/order_template_download.php?tid=241

and when i managed to install it on my site: http://inorth.co.cc/ i noticed that the search button is not working.

i need help in getting it to work please. also if it could be replaced with google adsense search would be more appreciated.

also, i'd like to ask for help too on how to remove that vertical line that separates the articles on my site. when i preview the original template, it doesnt have that.

some help would be greatly appreciated. thanks very much in advance.

Jang, please PM me for further assistance on this. I will guide you through our Help Desk, so you can post your ticket and receive the appropriate support on this issue.

As to the template, I have just tested it and it seems to be working fine.

Hello there Brandon, i tried to PM you but i got this: Brandon has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.

I also cant access your help desk because i dont have a hosting account on siteground.

Would it be ok if you just helped me here in the forums? It would also help the other member queep that is having the same problem as i do. though it seems that he has given up on this issue by looking at his site.

Also, you said that you tested it and it was working fine so could it be that my joomla version is the problem? so could you just tell me where and what version of joomla did you download and installed? or could you tell me the exact process that you did when you installed it?

What i really want though is to replace the search with adsense search, would you be able to help me with that? (assuming my search could be fixed in the first place).

I'm afraid that your issue requires access to the server and as such we cannot really help you. I can recommend you to get in touch with a local web developer, who I'm sure will be able to fix the issues and implement any new features you would need set on your website.
