Do I have to point my domain name toward siteground in order to create my site? Or, is this something you do?

Hello Nancy. You may build your site just accessing your account by IP. However, in order to make your accessible by domain, you need to set the DNS of the domain to point to the SG name server. As your domain is not registered by SiteGround, we do not have any access to your domain and you need to redirect the DNS yourself through the Domain Registrar. If you want SiteGround may assist you, but you need to post a ticket and give our Technical support team access to the control panel of the domain.
