bstate template and login issues

Hi, I have found an issue with the bstate template. When a new user registers with my site and hits the submit link the page refreshes (showing the input boxes) and gives no indication that they will receive an email to confirm registration.

This is quite confusing for anyone trying to register with my site.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
