Hi all.

I've posted here before and received some feedback about the front end of the site being a little cluttered which I agreed with and have made alterations to the site to amend that.

The site is aimed toward hill walkers and provides interactive services that I hope they will find useful, such as reminders for events, event creation, dynamic group creation, chatrooms, blogs and invitation managers and so on.

In future it will also monitor user activity and bump up access levels if they reach a set point of contribution and notifies the member via email. Currently I'm using that feature to automatically promote members to free subscriber status after they sign up.

If you could take a little time to visit the site and provide your very welcome feedback I'd be grateful.

The site is a http://www.walkerstalk.com

Thanks!

Might seem odd to notice this, not a big deal, not really a bug or anything.
If you right click one of the links at the top the "The UK's Interactive Site for Hillwalkers" text on the left all moves to one line instead of two.

I don't like how the top navigation turns to that bright red, it doesn't fit in with the site at all!
I really like the rest of it, nice site.

Thanks for the feedback! I've toned down the primary links tab hover colour to a blue that is used elsewhere on the site so it looks a lot better. Thank you.

I'm unable to recreate the other issue though but I did notice when a page is generated it shifts the menu tabs to the right for a split second while the banner loads so it could be related to that. I'll dig around.

Thanks for the very useful feedback.

Does anyone else have any other feedback on the site?
