View Full Version : META Tag editor?

Hello!

I upgraded my site-ground package so that I can add META tag information and keywords to my site. The help desk keeps sending me to the tutorial where it says,

"The special section of the editor allows you to add meta tags, key words, page descriptions and titles that help the search engines to index your site and increase your visitor's traffic."

I may have missed something, and where is this "special editor" that is mentioned in the paragraph above? There doesn't seem to be any change in the edit portion of my pages.

My appreciation in advance...

... Hi Julie

I also use SiteBuilder - the page title, meta tags and page description are very easy to add.

What you have to do is go into your SiteBuilder (obviously) - where you design your site and add text there are 6 tabs - Edit Text, Edit Layout, Edit Javascript, Edit Metatags, Usage and Preview Page.

The Edit MetaTags is where you want to be.

From what I've learned about SEO (far from being an expert) it is the Page Title that is most important for the little creatures who crawl whatevr it is they crawl (sorry about being soooo technical). You probably know more about that than me.

I've sent you a much longer email which you can pick up from the top left hand box of this forum page - under the welcome message ( I explain that just in case you have not yet had any messages to pick up via this site)

Regards from another Julie (which means soft-haired and youthful !)
