jAutoUpdate Wrong?

Hello the current Joomla version is: Joomla! 1.5.24 Released but jAutoUpdate is still showing 1.5.23. It has almost been a week and I thought this was the point of this extension?

Now Shows 1.5.24 But 1.5.25 is not showing up. Thanks!

Hello Mdemop,

The new Joomla version has been just added to the jAutoUpdate component and now you can upgrade your site to the latest stable release. Please use the "Version Check" button available in the jAutoUpdate section so the information about the latest stable release could be updated.

Hi -

I just installed the jautoupgrade component and it shows 1.5.21 as the latest version. When I click "Check for latest version" it replies with the info below. I have 1.5.25 installed and am just testing the components functionality.

It also says "checking for newer version..." below that but then stalls out and does not say if there is a newer version.

The reported problem is most likely caused by the fact that your Joomla application is not able to reach our server where the information about the latest Joomla version is stored. Thus I will ask you to post a ticket from your Help Desk Area so we can check the issue further. If your Joomla site is not hosted with us, please provide us with the output of the following command executed on the server where your Joomla site resides:

ping check.sgcpanel.com

jAutoUpdate even weeks after the release of 1.5.26 still shows 1.5.25 as the most recent version. I opened a ticket to inform your staff last week and was assured it would be looked into. If you are going to offer a "Auto" Update extension it has to reconize new Joomla release ideally same day.
