Hello,

Question: Do Dns errors affect a websites indexing and place ranking if there are non reachable errors.

A month ago or so I experienced a drop in web traffic. Having made a couple different changes, two parked domains, and the addition of adsense. I also noticed around this time that there were massive crawl errors, timed out, unreachables, according to google webmaster tools. Today, Google webmaster tools reported dns issues and unreachables once again.

Now throughout these changes and the crawl errors, I experienced a loss of close to a thousand pages in the google index, and my traffic suffered. Should I prepare for another drop do these errors? Unless there is reason for traffic and indexing to suffer do to running adsense, or parking domains with a redirect, I'm lost in regards to how to correct this problem.

Thanks for any advice.

These "unreachable pages" are most likely broken links, you should either 404 error them or 301 redirect them. That way Google will either redirect or stop crawling them and they will not hurt you. But if you've got a lot of broken links and errors then it will hurt your rankings and Google will start deindexing those pages.
