All popup windows are white!

If I attempt to add a link or an image to a news item in my "Joomla! 1.0.8 Stable" install all I get is a blank white popup window! I have attempted this on XP, 2000, multiple versions of IE & Firefox. I also attempted it on two different laptops, one running XP tablet edition, to no avail. Has anyone seen this before?

Everything else works fine.....

Similar issues with recent upgrade to Mambo 4.6.0 pop ups blank and white and also issues with no visible text in admin section editors... any help greatly appreciated.

Other reasons exist but by far the most common reason for this problem is logging in to your administrator using:
http://www.YourSite.com/administrator
instead of just
http://YourSite.com/administrator

NOTE: The SiteGround Fantastico installer does it without the www by default. Other hosts or other methods of installation may require you to log in WITH the www.

try to upgrade joomla 1.0.11 this may help you

I don't think that upgrading is the healing method for everything!!!

maybe it is better to find out:

does the new windows have invisible content? (Look at the source code of the page in your browser)
than for sure it is a template problem

this "upgrade here upgrade there" is not really helpful if you need a solution for a single problem!

(I agree that upgrading is better to fight spam and protect your installation, for sure)
