Upgrade from 4.5 to 4.5.1 help

Hello,
I am trying to upgrade from 4.5 to 4.5.1

I select Admin>Upgrade Wizard>Next

About 50% of the time, after a few seconds I get a blank screen. The other half of the time I get to the next step.

I made it all the way to the Preflight check but I can't get past it. When clicking on Next I simply get a blank screen after a few seconds.

I opened a TT with support. Support's attempt was to "remove all CR/LF's from PHP files and convert to Unix format" and "we don't support 3rd party software".

Hello,

I suggest that you perform the upgrade the following way:

1. Make sure you have a working Mambo (4.5).

2. Disable all additional modules, set the default theme for the Mambo.

3. Disable all components that are not bundled with the initial Mambo installation.

Then perform the upgrade the way you attempted it already. I believe this will solve your problems.

The upgrade finally worked. I would wait at the blank screen for about 10/15 seconds and then refresh my browser. Amazingly, it would refresh to the next step.

I believe the problem is that the server I'm on is very slow and the operations were timing out.
