Forms that direct to email

Greetings,

I am still somewhat of a n00b when it comes to websites but I have a question.
I am building one of my sites and have thought of posting a form using Deamweaver where someone can post some information and hit a "submit" button. I understand that a program has to be used to gather that info and forward it to a email address.

Unfortunately, thats as far as I understand, but I am trying. Can someone please give me a little "plain english" help?

Hello Mike,

To create such contact form, you will need to use another software, as I don't believe DreamWeaver has such functionality built in. You can check the following link:

which has several contact forms, you can use. Alternatively, you can use the phpFormGenerator script, which is available via your account's cpanel -> Fantastico. It has the ability to create forms with custom fields.
