Installing ModX

I have managed to install ModX on a USB memory stick using WAMP, but cannot seem to install it here on Siteground. I renamed the unzipped folder to Modx and FTPd it to the www directory. But when I point my browser to jventola.net/modx/install/index.php as the instructions suggest, I get a 404 file not found error. I have tried using www/modx... and public_html/www/modx... etc. etc.

I did create a database in my cPanel, I think, but I never get that far. Can someone help me out here? Thanks.

Please check whether there is a .htaccess file in your public_html folder that is causing some redirection issues. If you continue to experience any issues on that matter, please post a ticket under the Script Installation category in your Help Desk.
