getting hits but no sales

Hi, my website is www.stanschipdip.com . According to hostmonster stats I'm getting 2,000 hits per day. I'm near the top on the first page of google and yahoo when putting in "chip dip". I'm just not getting any sales. Could you give some constructive criticism as to what I should do? Thanks.

Dip is something you just buy at the local shop. I've never thought to buy single convenience store items online. I think you need to primarily work at getting your product supplied through a large wholesaler (unless you have already) In terms of selling on the net, I think you need to hook people in. Like give away a coupon codes on business cards for a free sample in the local area. The gift idea is good, but making that first sale is all important. Once they go through the process of ordering through the website once they're 1000% more likely to make a repeat purchase.

Agreed. When I buy dip I usuallu eat it the same day... I cant wait for it to ship.
That being said, the statement about repete customers will be your goal to success.
