Hi! I am one of the people who downloads template from siteground. I just got one problem and I wanna be sure that I am not violating anything. Recently, I downloaded this template called "Green Ray". I have read SG's Terms Of Use and I didn't remove the link at the bottom page of the template so to show that it's linked back to SG. But I am not so sure if what I did was acceptable. I altered it so that it will be a little more fancy and eye-catching. What I did was I made a button for SG and I placed it there at the footer. That button is the replacement of the text link. So technically, I never removed the link. I just altered how it looks like. Now I just need someone who knows all about this stuff to take a look at my website and assess the footer. I want to know if I violated SG's Terms Of Use by changing the appearance of the link to SG. Please visit my website (sorry if it's not so cool lol) @ www.personaljams.com. Any message on my website (Shoutbox or Guestbook) or here at the forum that pertains to this topic [with answer if I am in violation or not and suggestion(s)] would be greatly appreciated. I am also sorry if I posted my website here but it is necessary for assessment.

According to Terms Of Use, don't remove the link to SG. I never did. I just altered the way it looks.

Please, someone help me.

Thanks!

Hello,

We are glad that you are using our templates and feel happy with them. Please do not worry that you have modified the theme. In my oppinion every template needs a bit of tweaking in order to work correctly :)

Thank you very much! I love the green ray template really. To be honest I have downloaded like 10 templates. All black themes. But of course I am still waiting for your new releases. The reason I replaced green ray is because it was having a CSS conflict with some of the apps I got. I have always been a fan of SG's templates. It's just that I hope that one day you will somehow (hehe) release a template that includes lots of module positions (well not a lot but maybe a few I hope).

Anyway, thanks for the free templates. At least now I know that I can modify how it looks but never really remove the link. Keeping the link is our way of saying thank you to you guys who make all these effort of making such templates for free and available not just for your customers but for everyone.

Thanks and happy holidays!
