SiteGround Offers Unlimited Space and Traffic

SiteGround web hosting company has announced that it has set its traffic and space quotas to unlimited on all its shared hosting accounts. It has already upgraded all its existing shared accounts with the new features at no additional cost.

The company says the feature increase has been planned for months. SiteGround server administrators have made serious preparations to make sure that the servers meet the demand. They have introduced multiple system optimizations before the launch so that the new features are available to all new and existing customers.

"We really took time to make this upgrade possible and wanted to ensure that our servers are optimized to handle such a change in our offer", says Radostina Kesova, Marketing Expert at SiteGround. "Providing unlimited features is important for us because it allows our customers to focus on growing their online business. We are proud that we can say we now offer unlimited space, traffic, number of email accounts, FTP access, MySQL databases, parked domains, and subdomains. Our customers deserve that."

Although you have upgraded to UNLIMITED webspace and have got UNLIMITED e-mail accounts, we can's still use mail box more than 200MB. When we are assigned unlimited web space, why can't we assign mailbox more than 200MB. I know many others are using the shared server. But still it is unrealistic for SiteGround to notify on customers' cPanel about the mail boxes exceeding 200MB. The notice even says SiteGround will forcefully closedown/suspend the mail features of the domain.

Therefore, please look into your UNLIMITED web space in comparision with:

200MB mail box
150000 ionodes

which actually limits any clients using its features.

Thank you for your feedback! The space - it is indeed unlimited for website files. Yet, certain limitations have to be applied to prevent customers to use the web space as a web storage solution. In reality if a hosting provider offers you unlimited email accounts with unlimited quota, it will be at the expense of performance. We here always work for the balance: features - service quality. What I can say for sure is that we will continue working towards increasing the quotas and providing you with ever more increasing features and at the same time ensure the same high quality of service.
