I don't know about all that Patrick. I have to say that when I look for software - I always use what I have on my Laptop - the stuff that came standard. Going onto the net to download stuff is a little dicey. I'm not too keen to get up in websites which have no country-of-origin information. There's too much fraud going on - you feel me? I do suggest that you should use an external hard drive to do your backups with. And preferably with an encryption program too.

I think it's better to backup your websites either manually or by using built in scripts that are standard with most web hosts nowadays. Safer than trying to use 3rd party software, in my opinion.
