    Default JHackGuard issue

    Hello,

I just installed JHackGuard for my Joomla 1.5.23. All works well on my site. but when I want to go to the administrator login I have this error message :

Fatal error: Call to a member function isAdmin() on a non-object in /home6/n/neschers/www/plugins/system/remember.php on line 48

I have seen that it could be due to "register globals" but this variable is off.. so it cannot be the cause.

    Thank you for the help.

    Hello Bressan,

Indeed, the main reason for the mentioned error is if register_globals is enabled. Still, I believe that this php function is not disabled for all of your Joomla folders and that is causing the issue. Could you please verify if register_globals is disabled globally ( not only for the main Joomla folder ).

    Hello,

I'm not a php expert.. but I put at the root of my site the .htaccess file and the php.ini with this variable set to off. I was thinking that it was set for all the folders of my site... should I add something else under /administrator or something like that ?

    thanks for your help

    Hi Bressan,

Yes, you should copy the custom php.ini to all of your Joomla subfolders in order for this php setting to be disabled for the entire application.

Thanks a lot. I just put a php.ini under /administrator and it seems to work. I'm a little bit surprise, because I don't want to put a php.ini under all the sub-folder of my site... But for now the plugin is active and all my site is accessible so i'm happy with that .

    Thanks

I bought some template made by joomla from templatemonster.com, but totally I couldn't fix it. The admin page was very confused, and it has so many tools which usefulness. Some my friends told me it cause from template company. They made it like that.
I am not php programmer. I sped my time to learn for website. Is it possible to handle joomla without programming skill?
