The most popular blog application is called WordPress and it is really easy to create a blog using it. The official WordPress website is:

If your hosting account is on a cPanel server you can install WordPress via Fantastico or Softaculous. Most hosting companies offers at least one of the two auto installers. For more details how to install the application you can check our detailed WordPress tutorial:

If you have cpanel simply use the Fantastico installer to install Wordpress for you automatically. As the above poster mentions you may want to create a subdomain to do this (best not to install over your already existing index).affiliate

I advise you to register it as a subdomain, like blog.xxxxx.com. Its more better , plus if you buy other ip address for the subdomain you can link exchange with the primary domain!

I love Wordpress; my knowledge regarding building a website is limited (why I joined this forum to begin with), but with WP everything is very intuitive and user-friendly.
