Is Joomla Out of Date?

Hi All,

I'm taking baby steps into building my own websites and everyone keeps pointing me towards wordpress. A few years ago I was involved with some site builds in Joomla templates which seemed very easy and straightforward but everyone now seems to prefer Wordpress, yet I find it more complicated Does it matter which I use?

It really is up to you, wordpress is really easy to use but doesn't have the flexibility unlike joomla

I agree, I kinda like Joomla because of its flexibility but it is too hard to use it as a CMS in my website. Unlike wordpress that it just "click and press" and viola.

Joomla isn't out of Date. This is very professional and flexible CMS.

Many people choose Wordpress because of its simplicity. Therefore WP become great popularity. But, I repeat, Joomla isn't out of date.
