Thumbs down Tech Support My Foot- sitebuilder contact form problem

I posted on the forum somewhere but my posts all seem to have disappeared, just like the guys in tech support. I've had to open tickets just to get them to look at ones that were reopened.

I still have 4 major issues I need help with before my site is usable:

    1) In sitebuilder, there is a contact us section with a form. I edited the form but cannot figure out where or how to configure the form so that the information people enter into it actually comes to me.

    2) Is there a way of having two different photo galleries (my business has two photographers) in which shopping carts can be installed so that visitors may purchase the photographs?

    3) Is there a way to add a text box to a photo gallery with price listings for different size photographs?

    4) On another one of my sites, not on this server and not built with this moronic sitebuilder, I have a script which disables right-click saving of information and photos. Can this be installed on my site here? Nobody will buy a photo they can steal.

I've spent over 24 hours beating my head against the tech support wall to no avail. Can someone email me or something. I HAVE to finish this site by tomorrow night...

    Hello Sir,

I perfectly understand your concerns and can put myself into your position. However, there are several issues, regarding your problems. I will start by answering your questions one by one:

    1) In sitebuilder, there is a contact us section with a form. I edited the form but cannot figure out where or how to configure the form so that the information people enter into it actually comes to me.
Basically, the contact us form in the SiteBuilder never works. It works only if the html files are edit by hand, a form mail cgi script is installed and the form is configured to work with that particular cgi script (there're other methods too, this is the one we normally use). However, if the site is edit AFTER the form has been fixed by hand, the SiteBuilder will return the form to a normal state - non working

That is why you would have to post a trouble ticket AFTER you have finished changing anything to your site, in order for your form to be fixed permanently. I know it is inconvenient for you, but the SB is a 3rd party product and we are in no way responsible for how it works and what it does or doesn't do.

    2) Is there a way of having two different photo galleries (my business has two photographers) in which shopping carts can be installed so that visitors may purchase the photographs?
You can have as many photogalleries as you want to. There are several photo galleries inside Fantastico, you can install in no time like:

    Coppermine
    4images gallery

You can link them to your SB site, so there should not be a problem with that.

As for the shopping cart integration, you would have to find a web developer for that one. This is not something we do.

    3) Is there a way to add a text box to a photo gallery with price listings for different size photographs?
Coppermine has text boxes. For everything else, you would have to hire a web developer.

    4) On another one of my sites, not on this server and not built with this moronic sitebuilder, I have a script which disables right-click saving of information and photos. Can this be installed on my site here? Nobody will buy a photo they can steal.
This is a java script, which denies the right clicks. This one will require a web developer too.

I've spent over 24 hours beating my head against the tech support wall to no avail. Can someone email me or something. I HAVE to finish this site by tomorrow night...
Unfortunately, we are not specialized in webdesign/webdevelopment services. We are a hosting company which tries to serve it's client the best way possible. Most of the things you have written though, require the presence of a web developer.

SiteGround can find a developer for you. It is included in our exclusive proffesional services and is paid $50/hour. Furthermore, we won't be able to complete the task until tomorrow.

    Best Regards,

    Tom
