Contact Form in Joomla 2.5

Hey - I have been trying to remove the filter page between my main menu button Contact and the Contact Form page - can anyone help me?

Open your menu, select the Contact item and edit it. Then make it of type "Single Contact". On the right side of the page select the contact you want to point it to and save your changes. That should do the trick

Thank you! I just tried to test the contact form and it came up with this error message?

Fatal error: Call to a member function checkAnswer() on a non-object in /home/clare690/public_html/libraries/cms/form/rule/captcha.php on line 47

Do you know what the problem is?

Ok - I have fiddled about and managed to turn of the captcha's which has got rid of the error fatal error on line 47 but it now gives me a new error message of error 404 - article not found and has placed a subheading of Default on my contact form?

I've looked at the con_contact.ini file but there doesn't seem to be anything about the extra default heading I now have.

I have just tested the contact form a Joomla website using this template and the message was send correctly. I've noticed that your website has been hacked, however. Please make sure that all malicious code on it is cleared and that these issues are not result by any hacking attempts.

Yep, malicious code will mess up everything. I was doing SEO for a client once, and I was ranking on the first page for 60 KEYWORDS! Then it got hacked and I lost rankings for most of them. I just went in and found all the discrepancies and cleared everything right up!
