some code help?

Hi folks,

I've been putting together a really simple site in Joomla, and I'd like to add some code to have an object show up on the left side menu and I'm having some trouble figuring it out ...

the site is at: http://www.esperanzacommunityhousing.org/

and what I'm trying to do is add some code to make an image show up between the "menu" box on the left side and the "syndicate" box.

any thoughts on where I'd put the code? I thought maybe it would go in the XML file, but that didn't seem to work.

Also you would like to have large number of customizations set on your Joomla you may consider contacting an expert local web developer to apply the changes for you.

thanks for sending me over to the joomla forum. lots of great info there ... I think I might already have a solution. once I figure it out, I'll let folks know the fix.

If you want to change any default output than you need to change coding in .tpl templates files of the software. These files are available in templates folder.
