Vbulletin SEO Hack

I have been looking for a free SEO hack for vbulletin to create SEO friendly URLs or flat html files. The version I have is v3.7. I know there are some hacks out there work with previous versions....

Keep in mind, any time you use a paid forum software, the hack makers know and assume you are willing to pay money for addons. Hence why there are so few paid phpBB mods, but lots of paid vB ones.

3.7 is still VERY new, and AFAIK still in RC form. Dont expect hacks to be out for quite some time as mod authors update their code, particurally free ones that have less time to dedicate to it.

Additionally, I dont believe you need "seo friendly urls" to have your site well indexed.

The main thing to do is to get yourself backlinks.

But asking for HACK for SEO is breaking a few rules as having VB must be licenced same as SEO would be i would watch your back if your forum is nulled..

Why don't you try submitting your webpages in social networking websites like delicious,stumbleupon etc.?

I have the vbSEO hack on my Internet marketing forum. You can check out the category displays there for an example.

It seems quite effective however I didn't get it for SEO-friendly URLs. VB has this by default. Rather for the title tag categorization.

The VBSEO mod for Vbulletin is NOT free. You need to purchase a license in order to be able to use it. Like posters before me said, it is called a mod, not a hack. Hacks usually imply something non-legit or even illegal.
VBulletin 4 is already quite SEO friendly, making the need for the paid VBSEO mod less urgent.

Agreed. Ive never bothered with vBSEO and done pretty well. Build relevant backlinks
