I've got a Mambo site on siteground at http://www.torquayfc.com which I'm happy with. I want to play with mambo on my standalone. I'm running Windows with phpdev5. I've got the Mambo folder in the root directory but need zlib compression (no big deal) and it says my tmp folder is unwriteable. How do I fix these please (partic the latter).
Cheers, Graham |

Are you running apache or IIS on the windows server?
As for the TMP folder, you might want to see what variable is set for TMP in your php.ini and make the folder world writable

Running Apache - part of the phpdev5 package.

Fixed my problem - I was using a version of phpdev (version 5) that has bugs. Installed an earlier version and all is fine.

Also look at MSAS - awesome interface and it will run PHP & MYSQL for you!
