Is there a script that allows users to create an account (with customizable fields that are required durring registrayion), and have a list of events that they can register for??

Well, surely there are -- most CMS-es have advanced user management systems -- you can take a look at opensourcecms.com and hotscripts.com -- probably, you will find what you need. What kind of registrations do you need to implement exactly? Can you show an example?

I recently had an event, and was able to set up a nice registration form with PHPformgenerator on the cpanel. There are some rights issues unique to siteground, you might need tech support tweak it.

I used the auto responders in cpanel to send emails to my coworkers and my marketing manager. It worked very well.
