Default Upgrading Drupal

I have installed drupal 4.7.0 with Fantastico. Is it possible to upgrade to 4.7.3 manually, without waiting for Fantastico to update?

Thanks for the reply

Has anybody successfully updated from 4.7.0, and can give me some advice on how I would go about doing this?

Default hm....should be a piece of cake...but

hey mate....
updating Drupal is usually a piece of cake, just as a complete installation itself.
However the install offert by fantastico seems to do some reeeaaaally weird setups as u can read here:
http://drupal.org/forum/fantastico-de-luxe

I would suggest (deppending on how much you have done on your drupal page yet) to remove and reinstall it yourself
it only takes 20minutes max for first time users anyways and there is a pretty good intall howto here: www.drupal.org

However if u wanna upgrade, you need/should to first backup your DB, upload the new folders and run the update.php as far as I remember. I've doen that with my own install without any probs....
let me check real quick if I can find u a howto......
found it:
http://drupal.org/upgrade/

cheers
