Anyone else running MODx here at SiteGround? (http://www.modxcms.com/)
Though it's not part of Fantastico, my MODx setup was one of the easiest installs yet. And it's a fantastic CMS. I'd like to see a bit of discussion here, and perhaps trying to find some way to convince people that MODx is a better solution than Mambo and Joomla for CMS. SiteGround already has a page (http://www.siteground.com/modx-hosting.htm) telling the MODx community to host here, yet some of the people over on the MODx site can't believe or don't trust the cost/feature ratio of SiteGround. Let's make this work. I want to see more people using this amazing CMS/F and if we have an active community of MODx users here at SiteGround, we'll get better support for it. |

I am also using MODx. I have used it for several business-related projects. The site I have on SiteGround using MODx is a more personal venture -- namely a society to which I belong and I am the webmaster.
I am still in the dev mod, but it should soon be visable. I just finished loading the CMS. See huguenot-md.com. (The only URL, huguenot-md.org, will eventually be shifted here too.) Cheers, DeLaHelias |

Another hand for the MODx - it's the best CMS available these days..
All you have to do is to code some snippets and change the templates and.. voala - you have a great looking fully functional ajax powered website ![]() P.S The developers of the MODx should look forward to add the overlib functionalities by default in the future versions. Best Regards,

MODx is 100% buzzword compliant, and makes child's play of building content managed sites with validating, accessible CSS layouts – hence Ajax CMS. It empowers its users to build engaging "Web 2.0" sites today, with its pre-integrated MooTools, Scriptaculous and Prototype libraries. If you're a CSS designer or Ajax aficionado, this is the CMS for you; and if you like what you see today, you'll love what's coming.
