Cool SiteBulider - Adding Subscribe HTML code

I have been trying to figure out how to add html code into a page on SiteBuilder.

I want to add some a simple subscribe form from AWeber (my autoresponder service) to a web page in Site Builder.

I can't find a way to do this.

I tried to create a new form for this purpose but in order for this to work - it must come from the sender's email address.

Is there an easy way to drop some html code into a web page for this purpose?

I can certainly think of other instances where I would like to be able to do this.

And I have paid for the SiteBuilder upgrade if that makes a difference.

Help!

I am stuck!

Dan

Default adding html code

Hi dan - to add any html code what I do is this - I go ino the Edit Layout Tab and create a new text box - I move this box to any claer spot in the current layout of my page, and make it a bit about a third of the size of the standard rectangular text box that has opened up. I also fill the box with one of the colours - doesn't matter which as this is a temporary measure so that I can find it on the edit text page.

I then choose the Edit Text Tab - I select and copy the html code from my Notepad (or whereever you store your code) - on the Edit Text page I make sure that tye cursor is positioned in the new text box and simply paste.

The size of the box will probably need adjusting - go back to the Edit Layout tab to do this and change the colour, position the box etc.

Hope that helps.

Julie

Default Subscribe code additions

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my posting. I didn't realize you had replied since I didn't get an email notification.

What I was trying to do was to add an html subscribe form from my AWeber account.

I was told by support that I would have to do this via an external page. SO that is what I did and it is working fine.

FYI

I created a page in SiteBuilder that looked like I wanted.

I published it but hidden.

I pulled the file down into Dreamweaver, made some changes and added the form.

Then I set the redirect to return to a SIteBuilder tahnk you page when they submit the form.

This method works like a champ.

Maybe this can help others.
