I just had a website moved from my former hosting provider to Siteground. the site includes a prior installation of Drupal (4.7.3), but when I login at the Drupal installation, it directs me back to the old site. This suggests that the installation needs changing - but how do I 'get inside' to make the necessary changes?
More info: when I go to my siteground Cpanel / Fantastico page and look at the Drupal installation, it gives the old address: Current installations: dp.hostiz.com/drupal (4.7.3) Whereas the installation should read Current installations: nunovo.org.uk/drupal (4.7.3) Does this mean I have to delete the existing installation and reinstall from a backup? If so, am I using the backup funcion from Cpanel (and which is just downloading a copy of the MySQL database to my local hard drive)? |

Hello,
Actually, there are two things that need to be changed. First of all, the paths in the Drupal configuration need to be changed. Second, you need to check if the installation was created with fantastico at your old host and was transferred this way or if you have created it here with us. For both issues, I strongly recommend you to contact our Support Team for assistance. |
